Cross-country skiing in the Dolomites

Cross-country skiing in the Dolomites

The biggest cross-country skiing area in Europe with more than 1,300 km of tracks in ten areas with scenic tours across the Dolomites with a one-stop ski pass.

Located in the heart of the Dolomites, you can enjoy unique cross country and cross- border experiences in combination with fascinating mountain panorama and perfectly groomed tracks.

 The Dolomiti Nordic ski highlights:

  • 1300 km of cross-country skiing tracks
  • Tracks amidst the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Dolomites
  • Daily groomed tracks for ideal conditions
  • Uniform rates (day, week, season rates) and a combined ski pass
  •  Children up to 14 years can ski free

Nordic skiing is a true alternative to mass winter tourism. Cross-country skiers enjoy nature instead of consuming it. The impact on the environment is low, since this sport uses light facilities/equipment, which has no impact on the environment or the landscape. Furthermore, you can get to places in the periphery, which are not connected to touristic centres. The natural landscape of the Dolomites is ideal for this type of tourism.

Dolomiti Nordic ski is composed of slopes in Alta Badia; Valle Anterselva; Monguelfo area; 3 Peaks area, Cortina d`Ampezzo; Seiser Alm in Val Gardena area; Aurina Valley; Comelico; and Lorenzago di Cadore.

These diversified areas are connected at the one hand by the majestic Dolomites peaks and on the other hand by a same-set of quality standards of trails in East Tyrol just across the border in Austria boasting of 230 km cross country skiing area.

The Dolomiti Nordic ski tracks are groomed daily and thanks to focused artificial snowing treatments available, snow is guaranteed from December.

All Dolomiti Nordic ski areas share a uniform pricing policy for daily, weekly and seasonal tickets.
