Alta Badia offers several possibilities to explore the beautiful landscape from another perspective, why not try on horseback.

Horses, above all the strong Haflinger, are a crucial part of history in the Alta Badia. Horses have always been of great help to work the land more easily, furthermore they still play their role in the customs and traditions of the valley. Every year, the St. Leonhard horse parade in honour of Saint Leonhard, with participants in traditional costumes, as well as the Slittada da paur, a horse-drawn sleigh race with a long-standing tradition, take place.

There are many natural highlights, such as the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park or the Armentara Meadows, that can be discover on the horseback - in winter, however, you can enjoy romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides through a winter wonderland
