Cool down at the snow cave in Alta Badia, Dolomites, South Tyrol, Italy

Walk to the Armentara meadows and to the snow cave in the Dolomites

The gentle and rounded mountains, which characterise the Armentara meadows, are the results of prehistoric events. Across fields there is a great variety of flowers while you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Santa Croce mountain. At the foot of this enchanting Mountain, a natural snow cave is magically reborn each year. Season after season, the cave is dug out by the snow and by the subsequent melting of the glaciers that come down from the peaks of the Piza dales Diesc and the Sas sla Crusc.

If you would like to cool down during the hot summer days, why not coe and see this natural wonder. The local tourist office organises weekly hiking tours.
