MALTA TO HOST COMMONWEALTH BUSINESS SUMMIT
Malta will host a major Commonwealth business summit in 2019 to examine ways to create new jobs after Brexit.
The Prime Minister made the announcement during a speech to VIPs from across the Commonwealth in London.
Joseph Muscat handed over the chairmanship of the Commonwealth from Malta to the UK tomorrow earlier this year.
In 2019 Malta will host the first Commonwealth's Foreign Direct Investment Conference.
'All investment promotion agencies, SMEs and international corporations will be invited to Malta to continue to consolidate on the work that we aim to achieve this week.
It will be an excellent opportunity to continue to provide the necessary thrust for further growth and prosperity in the Commonwealth
