The long weekend from 18th to 21st December is the perfect occasion for a fascinating skiing holiday that combines great sport, fun and relaxation, in addition to the opportunity to see the great skiing champions who have helped write the history of skiing. Here are ten reasons why you should not miss the Ski World Cup 2015 in Alta Badia and why you should choose Alta Badia for your long weekend:

Are you ready to support the great champions competing in a thrilling race on Sunday 20th December 2015 on the Gran Risa, one of the most challenging and attractive slopes of the Ski World Cup? Ski legends in town
Would you like to personally meet the great skiing champions who have helped write the history of skiing such as Gustav Thöni, Marc Girardelli and Michael von Grünigen, who will be in Alta Badia for the 30th edition of the Ski World Cup? Maybe you can meet them in the finish area of the Gran Risa or when walking through the town, where you can ask them for a selfie or an autograph.

First skiing of the season
In Alta Badia, enjoy the pleasure of skiing on perfectly prepared slopes even in the absence of heavy snow falls. Be amazed by the astonishing speed of skiing on the snow at night. This is a wonderful occasion to support your favourite skier in an enchanting setting.

Where there is a will there is a way
Sometimes, exceptional people can overcome hurdles and transform them into opportunities: on Sunday 20th December in the SKI CHALLENGE OF GIANTS, the previous winners of the Ski World Cup Alta Badia will run as a team with the athletes of South Tyrol Paralympic team, with the FISIP (Italian Paralympic Ski Federation) and with a special guest. This race is sure to be thrilling, and the prize will be donated to the South Tyrol Paralympic group. Special guest: Alex Zanardi.

Good luck or bad luck?
Who will be the first one to face the Gran Risa? Which athlete will set the record to break?
The raffle of the start numbers is an exciting moment not to be missed before a Ski World Cup competition and will take place on Saturday 19th December 2015 starting at 6.20 pm.
