Helicopter flights between Malta airport and Gozo
You'll soon be able to fly from Malta to Gozo by helicopter.
From next week, a new air transport service will be launched, connecting the two islands.
HeliFly Malta is the brainchild of Italian pilot and businessman Elio Blasio.
He told The Times of Malta: 'When you fly by plane over Malta you can admire its beauty.
'On board a helicopter, you can take your time and enjoy the spectacle of the Dingli Cliffs, the old and new capital of Mdina and Valletta, Gozo and Comino.
'Customers who want to go to Gozo only need to book online, giving us details about the time and day they would like to fly'.
The helicopter transfer service takes 10 minutes, and will operate between the Gozo Heliport near Xewkija and Gate 1 at Malta Airport.
Tickets cost from €155 per person.
